Q&A

  • Yes! Mac would not call herself a stylist if she couldn’t dress ALL bodies. In addition to styling a plethora of plus-size clients, PHIKA itself was created as a call to action in response to the fashion industry’s lack of inclusivity. Mac started in the industry as a size 18/20 herself, and PHIKA was created to be a safe fashion hub for everyone—no matter what body they are in or where they are in their journey to style fulfillment.

  • Ain’t no problem! We have a plethora of options to make sure styling is as accessible as possible. If you're looking to pursue a full styling program, ask about our payment plan options. You can also enter our monthly styling giveaways for a chance to win a free 30-minute styling session with Mac.

  • Transparency is a TOP priority here at PHIKA STYLING CO. So here is an exact breakdown of where your donation is set to go:

    • 20% goes into the gender-affirming styling giveaway pot. Once the pot is full, a queer or trans winner is chosen to receive a free gender-affirming styling package, with a small thrifting trip fund built in.

    • 10% goes into the gender-affirming thrifting fund. This ensures that when a trans or queer person in need is chosen for free styling, they won’t face the unexpected bill of shopping to fulfill the program.

    • 40% goes toward the maintenance of the site and programs. In the words of Dolly, “It costs a lot of money to look this cheap!”

    • 30% is put into a cutsey little treasure chest for the future of the company. We have BIG plans to expand and need that sweet, sweet cash tucked away to make it happen!

  • Hell yeah brother! You can book a consultation on behalf of the lucky giftee and we can chat about how you’d like to proceed.

  • Nothing! The consultation is simply a time for me to ask you a few questions and gauge our compatibility for your styling expectations. In short, its an opportunity for you to see if I could be a good fit for your styling needs.

  • All allies of the queer community are more than welcome here! While there is a strong emphasis on my specialization in styling queer bodies, it is absolutely not exclusionary.
